How to unlock your Vehicle

Modern electronic key fobs provide superior convenience and performance to a manual key. Pressing the unlock button a second time will disable the alarm and unlock the driver door. If you press it again, you can unlock all doors and the tailgate. The unlock button can also be used to roll down the windows during an extremely hot day or to let fresh air in before climbing behind the wheel. Place the blade of your screwdriver or pry bar tool into the slot and gently open the back of the fob of the key. Once you have opened the fob, locate and remove the CR 2032 3V battery. Replace the battery and snap back together the fob.

Note: Certain older Volvo models use different types of batteries that is the CR2025. CR2025 batteries have the thickness of 7/10ths a millimeter less than a CR2032 and you'll have to be extra cautious when replacing your battery.
