If you're looking to save money and don't need a stroller that doubles up as car seat carriers, the Babyzen Yoyo is a good choice. It has a simple one-step foot brake that's flip-flop comfortable.

It's easy to push and it feels solid when traversing kerbs and woodland trails. Plus, it's a dream to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned its reputation as the ultimate stroller that is lightweight, suitable for city dwellers as as jet-setters. In our test of push and turn it performed better than the majority of other strollers that we tried, but it's not the most comfortable to maneuver on uneven ground or through narrow doorways. The sunshades it has are among the most compact we tested, with only direct overhead coverage and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a more extensive canopy.

It's a bit heavier than other strollers that we tested however the wheels are made of rubber composite, so it feels sturdy and durable. It maneuvers expertly across different types of terrain and it's easy to carry, even when loaded with two kids and shopping bags.

The seat and carrycot both have hoods that can be pulled down to reveal UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are durable and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams that can be blown back into toddlers faces.

It's not a lot of storage space, but it comes with an ample basket that is deep enough to hold a change bag or plenty of food. It can also be connected with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for babies up to 20 lb (car seat and adapters sold separately). If you require a stroller that can be used on the road, then the City Tour 2 is an excellent option.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first rolled onto the scene it stole the hearts of parents across the world. It's an aluminium framed stroller that will see you through your baby's initial days and beyond.
