During our testing it did a great job on both hard floors and carpets with low pile, picking up most of the smaller, harder debris that we dropped on each surface and taking on the larger crumbs of cereal we placed on the carpet. It's a little less adept in dealing with pet hair than some of the top models we've tested, however, and it might become stuck on toys or cords in the event that you don't clean them up before sending the robot out to clean.

In our tests, it was clean for approximately 90 minutes before the battery ran out and then returned to its base. However, its battery life is rather small, so you will need to recharge it often when you intend to use the machine for a long period of time. It is easy to maintain with an easy-to-clean dirtbag that can be replaced easily and a simple schedule of maintenance. It's also cheaper than the more expensive competitors.

The Q5 Pro can be a little finicky when it is dealing with pet hair and bulkier debris, though it does a solid job overall. In our tests, it removed more debris from floors and carpets that are low-pile than the Dirt Devil Endura Max, but it was unable to get into tight corners and recessed areas of high-pile carpet. It's also more mobile, and its filtering system does a great job of trapping allergens. However its straight suction floorhead is low to allow for the passage of large or large-sized debris. It also has some minor disadvantages, such as its lack of features that are more advanced and the limited functionality of the remote control. Despite these limitations however, the Eureka Q5 Pro is a good choice to those seeking an affordable robot vacuum with mopping capability.

3. SwitchBot K10 Plus

The SwitchBot K10 Plus is a great option for those who want a powerful vacuum that can also mop. This little robot has a compact design that lets it get into small spaces such as corners and under furniture that larger robots cannot reach. It also has an advanced LiDAR sensor that is able to detect obstacles and avoid collisions.

During our testing during testing, the K10 Plus quickly and efficiently vacuumed up dust, pet hair, crumbs, and other debris from our carpets and hardwood floors. It also did a fantastic job of getting into tight places such as under our bed or around the chair's legs. In addition to vacuuming, it is also able to do mopping with an additional cloth or a wet wipe. There is a small package of wet wipes with the K10 Plus to get you up and running.

The application for the K10 Plus is intuitive and simple to use. It comes with a variety of options for customization such as setting a time that the machine won't be disturbed, changing the layout of its map or setting a timer of when it should clean. The Roomba S9+'s design is definitely high-end with a body that is D-shaped that looks much more modern than its circular competitors. This shape allows it to reach corners and along edges more easily. It can still create dust in these areas if you don't spin the corner brush in a fast enough manner. However, its powerful motor is more than enough to make up for it.

In iRobot’s tests in the lab, the S9+ picked up kitty-litter and pet hair easily.
